Collection slider
Overview
Collection slider presents selected collections as a horizontal carousel. Use it to direct customers to departments, seasonal edits, product types, or curated collection groups.
Before you begin
Create the collections in Shopify admin and add collection images where possible. The section can override an individual collection image when a different storefront crop is required.
Add the section
Add Collection slider to the template where you want customers to see it.
- From Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes, find Radian, and select Customize.
- Use the page selector at the top of the Theme Editor to open the required template.
- In the template panel, select Add section, choose Collection slider, and select Save.
Set up the section

| Image corner radius | Controls the rounding applied to collection images. |
| Image transition effect | Selects the image treatment used when customers interact with a card. |
| Button | Adds a section-level button and exposes its style and size. |
| Title style | Sets the typography used for collection card titles. |
| Autoplay | Advances the carousel automatically at the selected speed. |
| Heading layout | Sets position and alignment independently for desktop and mobile. |
| Section spacing | Sets top and bottom spacing for desktop and mobile. |
Add collections
Add one Collection block for every carousel card. You can add up to ten blocks.
- Select Add block > Collection.
- Choose the collection to display.
- Add Title override only when the storefront title should differ from the collection title.
- Select Override image when the collection image does not suit the carousel crop.
- Set desktop and mobile content alignment, then repeat for the remaining collections.
Drag Collection blocks to change the slide order.
Check the result
Navigate through every slide on desktop and mobile. Confirm that each card opens the expected collection and that titles remain readable at the selected image crop.
Troubleshooting
COMMON ISSUES
| A collection has no image | Add a collection image in Shopify admin or choose Override image in the block. |

| Cards appear in the wrong order | Drag the Collection blocks into the required carousel order. |
| Autoplay feels too fast | Increase Autoplay speed or turn autoplay off. |
| A collection page is empty | Confirm that the collection contains products published to the Online Store sales channel. |
