Section headings and text
Many sections start with the same heading group: a small subheading, a heading, a description and an optional link. Each text has its own typography style and font scale, so you can make one heading huge and another quiet without touching Theme settings.
Edit a section heading
- Select the section and find its heading settings near the top.
- Type the Subheading (1) and Heading (2). In the heading, set words in *italics* to highlight them: the style comes from Theme settings > Typography > Highlighted words.
- Pick a Typography style (3), then adjust Font scale: 100% is the size of that style in Theme settings > Typography.
- Add a Description and a Link label and Link if you want a call to action next to the heading.

Settings reference
Section heading (shared)
| Subheading | The small line above the heading, with its own Typography and Font scale. |
|---|---|
| Heading | Words in italics are highlighted (Theme settings > Typography > Highlighted words). |
| Typography | Display, Heading, Subheading or Body: the text style the heading uses. |
| Font scale / Font scale on mobile | Size as a percentage of the chosen style in Theme settings > Typography. |
| Make font bolder | Uses the bold weight of the font. |
| Heading tag | H1 to H6 or a paragraph, for search engines and screen readers. It doesn't change the look. |
| Description | Text under the heading, with its own Typography and Font scale. |
| Alignment / Mobile alignment | Left or center (some sections also offer split layouts). |
| Link label / Link | An optional link next to or under the heading. |
| Anchor ID | Lets links jump to this section, for example #specs. Used by the Anchor links bar. |
How it works
- Font scale multiplies the style's size from Theme settings. Change the style there and every heading that uses it follows, each keeping its own scale.
- Leave a text empty to hide it.
- Keep one H1 per page: most themes put it on the page title or the first heading; use H2 for section headings.
