Section headings and text

Many sections start with the same heading group: a small subheading, a heading, a description and an optional link. Each text has its own typography style and font scale, so you can make one heading huge and another quiet without touching Theme settings.

Edit a section heading

  1. Select the section and find its heading settings near the top.
  2. Type the Subheading (1) and Heading (2). In the heading, set words in *italics* to highlight them: the style comes from Theme settings > Typography > Highlighted words.
  3. Pick a Typography style (3), then adjust Font scale: 100% is the size of that style in Theme settings > Typography.
  4. Add a Description and a Link label and Link if you want a call to action next to the heading.

How it works

  • Font scale multiplies the style's size from Theme settings. Change the style there and every heading that uses it follows, each keeping its own scale.
  • Leave a text empty to hide it.
  • Keep one H1 per page: most themes put it on the page title or the first heading; use H2 for section headings.
