Customer accounts

Customers can sign in to see their orders and addresses. Shopify offers new customer accounts (hosted by Shopify) and classic customer accounts (theme pages). Choose which in Settings > Customer accounts in Shopify Admin.

How to set it up

Step 1: Show the account icon

1. In the Header section, under Account, turn on Show account and choose an icon, icon with text or text.

Step 2: Choose the account menu

1. Go to Theme settings > Customer account and pick a Customer account menu (1). With new customer accounts, its links show in the account sheet that opens from the header icon. The default is Shopify's Customer account main menu.
2. To use a different menu in the header only, pick it in the Header's Account menu setting; it overrides this one.

Step 3: Classic account pages

1. With classic accounts, Radian styles the login, register, account, order, addresses, activate and reset password pages. Open them from the page picker under Customer accounts.
