Key specs
The Key specs block shows the numbers that sell an electronics product: battery life, weight, noise cancelling, range. Show them as tiles with icons, gauges with a level ring, a compact strip or a list. Each product can have its own specs from a metafield, or you set fixed specs in the block.
Before you start
For per-product specs, create the Key spec metaobject and the custom.key_specs product metafield: see Product data: metafields and tags.
How to set it up
Step 1: Add the block
- In the Second column (or Product details), click Key specs, or Add block > Key specs.
- Choose where the specs come from (1): each product's key specs (falling back to the specs below), or the specs below only.
- Pick a Style (2): tiles with icons, gauges, compact strip or list, and the Columns.
Step 2: Add fixed specs (optional)
- Under the block, add Spec blocks: label, value, unit, a short detail, an icon and a level from 0 to 100 for gauges.
- Connect a spec's Value to a product metafield (the database icon) to show each product's own value with a fixed label.

How it works
- The same key specs can show on product cards as highlights: Theme settings > Product cards > Show highlights.
- Empty specs are hidden.
- Gauges fill a ring from the spec's level.
