Product badges
Badges show on product cards and product pages. Radian has four: Sale, Sold out, Pre-order and Purchase option. Their colors are set here and don't follow the section color scheme.
How to set it up
Step 1: Open the badge settings
- Go to Theme settings > Product badges.
- Set the Badge corner radius, or turn on Make transparent for badges without a background.
Step 2: Set up each badge
- Sale: shows when a product has a compare-at price. Choose Text (for example "Sale") or Percentage (for example "-20%").
- Sold out: shows when no variant can be bought.
- Pre-order: shows on products that use the preorder template. See Manual pre-order.
- Purchase option: shows when a selling plan (from a subscription or preorder app) is selected, using the plan group name from the app.
- For each, turn the badge on or off and set its text and background color.

How it works
- Continue selling when out of stock in Shopify Admin only allows overselling. It doesn't show a Pre-order badge; assign the preorder template for that.
- Product cards show the purchase option badge only when the product's default variant requires a plan and exactly one plan group applies.
