Downloads and support
The Downloads & support block lists a product's files (manuals, quick start guides, firmware, drivers) and links to warranty, support, contact and your companion app.
Before you start
Create the Download metaobject and the custom.downloads product metafield: see Product data: metafields and tags.
How to set it up
Step 1: Set up the block
- In the Second column, click Downloads & support.
- Choose Display (1): a collapsible row or a panel.
- Turn on Hide on products without downloads if some products have none.
- Under Support, add a heading and the warranty, support, contact, App Store and Google Play links.
Step 2: Add files to a product
- In Shopify admin, open the product and find the Downloads metafield.
- Add Download entries: a title, a kind (Manual, Firmware…), a file or a link, a version and a note.
