Scrolling text
Scrolling text (a marquee) runs text and small images across the page. It can speed up and reverse with page scroll, pause on hover and tilt slightly.

How to set it up
Step 1: Add the Scrolling text section
- In the theme editor, open the page you want and click Add section under Template.
- Search for Scrolling text and select it (1).

Step 2: Set the motion
- Pick a Separator (1), the Speed and Direction, and turn on React to page scroll and Pause on hover.

Step 3: Add items
- Add Text blocks (with a style: solid, outline, highlight, italic or muted, and a link) and Image blocks.

Section width, corners, padding, color scheme, divider and visibility work the same in every section: see Section layout and spacing. Headings, subheadings and descriptions: see Section headings and text.
How it works
- The marquee pauses when it is off screen, and for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
